Elect Bryan

VERHEI

Pasco City Council | District 3

For Families. For Pasco. For Good.

Bryan understands council has to work collectively to accomplish community driven goals, and has the community’s best interest at heart, rather than trying influence people by telling them what they want to hear. Bryan seems sincere, hardworking, and ready to take up the challenge of being your next Councilmember.”

Joseph Campos, Former Pasco City Councilman District 2

Turning a Passion for Pasco

Into Public Service

Bryan Verhei has always put his community first.

Whether helping families find their perfect home or supporting local causes, his work has always been rooted in service. As a small business owner in real estate, Bryan built his career around helping others — and now he’s ready to bring that same people-first approach to City Hall. He’s running for Pasco City Council to ensure every resident has the opportunity to thrive in the place they call home.

  • Bryan Verhei brings both heart and experience to his campaign for Pasco City Council. A graduate of Eastern Washington University with a degree in Political Science and a minor in Business Administration, Bryan combines a deep understanding of policy with the practical know-how of a small business owner. Today, he leads RE/MAX Horizon in Richland, where he works every day to help families put down roots and build better lives.

But Bryan’s commitment to community goes far beyond real estate. Each year, he organizes a pet food drive through his office to support local families in need, and he's led efforts to collect supplies for young adults transitioning out of foster care. These initiatives are just a few examples of how he shows up for his neighbors—quietly, consistently, and with purpose.

One of Bryan’s proudest moments came when he helped a client on the verge of homelessness purchase their first home. By leveraging down payment assistance programs and partnering with the right lender, he was able to hand over the keys just in time - proving that thoughtful, compassionate work can change lives.

Now, he’s ready to bring that same dedication to Pasco City Hall, because everyone deserves the chance to thrive in the community they call home.

Guiding Pasco’s Growth the Right Way

Pasco is growing - and that’s a good thing. But growth without a plan leads to missed opportunities, strained infrastructure, and avoidable frustration for families and businesses alike. Bryan believes it’s time for smarter, more intentional development. He supports a full review of current zoning practices, removing outdated barriers, and adopting a growth strategy that’s clear, consistent, and welcoming to investment, without losing sight of what makes Pasco home.

Addressing Homelessness with Compassion and Action

Bryan understands that homelessness is a complex issue rooted in rising housing costs, economic hardship, and challenges like addiction and mental health. As your councilmember, he’ll commit to practical, compassionate solutions that treat people with dignity while addressing root causes.

He plans to partner with organizations like Habitat for Humanity to expand access to affordable housing and support innovative models for safe, stable homes. Bryan also believes Pasco can and should do more to bring in support services for those facing substance use or mental health challenges — helping people not just survive, but get back on their feet and thrive.

Making Middle Housing Work for Pasco

With new state laws requiring cities to allow more middle housing — like ADUs, duplexes, and courtyard homes — Pasco faces a big opportunity and an even bigger responsibility. Bryan knows that how we implement these changes will shape our city for decades to come.

As a real estate professional, he brings hands-on knowledge of the housing market and how zoning decisions play out in the real world. He’s committed to ensuring that Pasco’s 2026 Comprehensive Plan reflects both the state’s requirements and the needs of local residents: creating more housing choices while preserving the character of our neighborhoods.

Change happens when communities come together. We’re building a campaign powered by people who do more than talk - they listen. Whether you want to knock on doors, make calls, host an event, or

, there’s a place for you on this team.

A New Kind Of Politics
